St. Louis Chapter of ARMA
CRM Scholarship Program Guidelines

The St. Louis Chapter of ARMA CRM Scholarship Program was implemented to promote, support and assist candidates in pursuing their Certified Records Manager (CRM) certification. The scholarship program is designed to motivate potential candidates to participate in chapter activities and to setup a process by which professional development, leadership succession and the advancement of the Records and Information Management (RIM) profession is established.

Please review the following guidelines before applying for the STL ARMA CRM Scholarship. Applications should be sent to Ray Lynn Haliday.

Eligibility
  1. Must be a member in good standing of the St. Louis Chapter of ARMA one-year prior to starting the CRM application process.

  2. Must be a member in good standing of the St. Louis Chapter of ARMA at the time the scholarship application is submitted.

  3. Member must not be eligible for employer-sponsored reimbursement programs and should provide a letter from supervisor substantiating this fact.

*A member in good standing is one that is current in the payment of dues to ARMA International and the St. Louis Chapter and complies with the provisions and obligations of the Articles of Incorporation and the Bylaws.

Criteria
  1. Member must submit a copy of their official certification letter from the Institute of Certified Records Managers (ICRM) to the Board of Directors for approval along with the scholarship application.

  2. Must submit Scholarship application within 180 days of the date of the ICRM notification letter.

Selection
  1. No more than two awards will be issued annually according to the Chapter’s fiscal year which is July 1 – June 30.

  2. The St. Louis Chapter of ARMA Board of Directors will review applications and scholarships will be awarded on a first-come, first serve basis.

  3. In the event the Chapter receives more than two requests in one year, they will be considered as the first applicants (in order of the date applications are received) for the next consecutive year.

  4. The total amount of the scholarship is $375 per approved applicant.
